EMS ACADEMY

MedStar’s Board of Directors just recently approved the implementation of an in-house EMS Academy for both Paramedics and EMT’s.  The details of the academy are currently in the works and will be available soon. 

The academy is scheduled to begin in early 2008.  The Paramedic program will be implemented first and will be available to existing MedStar EMT employees only.

The EMT rookie school is scheduled to be implemented in the Spring 2008 timeframe and will be available to outside applicants.  Applicants who meet the required minimum qualifications will be considered for filling the limited vacancies for this program.  Once the specifics of the program are finalized, details will be available on the website.
